Are you a bachelor mechanical engineering student with a passion for construction and manufacturing techniques? Do you like to search for the ideal design? Then we are looking for you!


Your assignment
As a mechanical engineering intern you get the opportunity to tackle a challenging project in which your creativity and analytical skills are central. You will start by preparing a detailed set of requirements, which you validate with your client. This forms the basis for your design cycle. From these requirements you will generate, evaluate and implement different concepts.
Within this assignment, you work on a next-generation fan shield that does not yet meet the desired cost. Your task is to find a way to meet the desired cost price. This requires knowledge of production techniques, such as sheet metal and injection molding, and the ability to come up with innovative solutions.


Your profile
- You are currently studying HBO mechanical engineering
- You are familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of different production techniques
- You enjoy the challenge of optimizing parts and making the necessary calculations and production drawings
- From September 2025 you are available for 4 to 6 months
