Your assignment
Canon UVgel technology is specially developed for advanced printing based on UV curing principles. This technology retains the advantages of prevailing printer technologies, while eliminating many of the compromises. One of the successful products is our Colorado series.
However, certain challenges remain. Particularly, recyclability and safety can be much further improved. There are many ways to face this challenge, and in this project you will explore one of them. Your assignment will be to explore alternative polymerization techniques. For a successful completion, some synthesis and formulation will be required, as well as testing of print properties. In addition, you will get the possibility to experience the working environment in a larger company and network with many professionals in diverse fields.
Your profile
• You have a research background and/or a well-developed interest in organic and/or polymer chemistry
• You are experienced and comfortable in a synthetic chemistry lab.
• You are a result-driven and self-motivated team player
• You are available for 5-9 months for a minimum of 4 days per week
