New Business Development Manager Dental

40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)

 

What You’ll Do

Your challenge is to shape future business of CPP by identifying, developing, and commercializing new revenue streams through Business Model Innovation and/or Portfolio Expansion.

 

You are responsible for identifying and understanding potential opportunities in Dental 3D printing, through executing market research. You act as a subject matter expert knowing the customers’ needs, business dynamics and challenges. With your entrepreneurial drive, expert knowledge of the market and its development (needs), you define and develop opportunities as well as successfully engage with key stakeholders. You make sure our products and solutions are positioned and promoted fulfilling customer needs and ensure that the relevant market opportunities (technologies and sales) and developments are clear and shared within the organization.

 

To implement the identified opportunities successfully you liaise intensively with R&D, Finance, Strategy & Senior Management. It is your challenge to generate focus and dedication to ensure successful implementation and delivering of business growth.

 

You define and deploy value propositions, identify markets, sell new business opportunities internally and make sure we can introduce our ideas successfully.

 

A summarization of your responsibilities

 

  • Identifying and developing the dental and medical 3D printing market through mapping the potential market (initial focus: Benelux/EMEA) including value chains, competition analysis and ensuring up-to-date view on (new) technologies.
  • Creating entirely new business models, concepts and opportunities for new markets and new products by, through acquisition, building a warm potential customer network.
  • Developing of complete business plan, including implementation plan and successfully selling our products and solutions fulfilling customer needs, with the goal to achieve the developed business plan.
  • Working highly independent with a stand-alone responsibility, reporting to CFO and TDM R&D.
  • Understanding the requirements from all stakeholders in the (new) market by actively communication with potential customers and other stakeholders in the value chain.
  • Translating these requirements into product requirements for R&D and as such defining the value proposition of the new business from market and customer perspective.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing, optimal representation and collaboration across Canon CPP teams to develop, manage and ensure successful implementation and business growth.

 

This position reports into the CFO Executive Board with a dotted line to an R&D Department Head. It is based at the international headquarters of Canon Production Printing in Venlo, The Netherlands.

 

What You Bring

You bring strong personal leadership, you are a self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in different teams. A strong personality, affinity with a technical environment and the ability to level with your stakeholders within the R&D division, Finance and Strategy & Senior Management are crucial within this position. Furthermore you recognize yourself in the following requirements:

 

  • Academic thinking level with 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in healthcare 3D printing
  • You combine a well-structured approach with technical affinity and good people and business sensitivity
  • You have a positive 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • You are pro-active, entrepreneurial and have a drive to getting things done with a team spirit
  • You have a high-energy, excellent interpersonal skills and a self-started base triggered by business growth
  • Requisite influencing and networking, the ability to interface with and effectively influence different stakeholders with different cultures and multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel about 20% of your time
  • Your English and Dutch knowledge are on a professional level, command of any additional languages are an advantage.
