What You’ll Do

 

  • Analyze and track technical issues with customer installations worldwide, ensuring prompt identification and resolution.
  • Develop targeted and sustainable solutions to effectively address and resolve issues.
  • Provide escalation support and coordinate project-based activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Facilitate knowledge and information transfer by creating comprehensive course concepts for users, Canon Service Engineers, and Canon Professional Services Consultants.
  • Collaborate closely with experts in R&D and product marketing to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Focus on SUSE Linux and Data Security, with key responsibilities including:
    • Developing and maintaining Security Whitepapers for software products and SRA-controller based print engines.
    • Conducting compliance statements in accordance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and DSGVO standards.

 

Who You’ll Work With


Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll be working with lots of other people in an open, creative multidisciplinary environment. That includes our other departments, service technicians, marketing and R&D. 

 

What You Bring

 

  • Completed vocational education as a computer scientist or a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent education at a minimum.
  • Several years of professional experience in relevant roles (e.g. in requirements engineering)
  • Extensive knowledge of SUSE Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation, administration, and usage.
  • Ability and willingness to delve into complex issues and solve problems in a structured manner.
  • Hands-on mentality with a structured, self-paced working attitude, strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive mindset for teamwork.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German, along with good proficiency in English.
  • Flexibility and readiness to travel internationally as needed (an international driving license may be required).
