Are you a BSc Applied Science student which is looking for a graduation assignment? Are you ready to take on the challenge of investigating the shelf life of our EPDM formulation—whether by identifying the effects of environmental parameters or by implementing quality assurance measures using the appropriate measurement methods? Then we’re looking for you!
Your assignment
Several of our printers contain components made from an EPDM formulation we developed in-house. To ensure product quality, we want to gain a better understanding of the shelf life of these components. Parameters such as time, temperature, air/oxygen, and light appear to play a role in this. Investigating these parameters’ effects on curing, transparency/reflection, and the associated measurement methods is important in this context.
You will encounter a multidisciplinary assignment involving the chemistry and physics of EPDM.
Your profile
• You are currently pursuing a bachelor degree in applied science
• You see setting up and conducting multidisciplinary (chemistry/physics) research as a challenge
• To carry out this assignment, you possess skills such as a practical problem-solving mindset using experiments, analysis, and modelling
• You are available for at least 5 months, working at least 4 days per week
What’s in it for you?
• A challenging assignment with skilled coaching
• Internship/ Graduation compensation of €500,- per month
• Travel cost compensation if you don’t have an ‘OV-week card’
• The possibility to network with professionals inside and outside your field of expertise, thanks to our diversity of disciplines which you will work with
