Chemical Engineer 
32-40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)

What You’ll Do 

As a Chemical Engineer, you work at the core of our printer products: the print process and its consumables.
You translate product and application requirements into robust ink materials and scalable processes.
Your work helps develop high-performance UVgel ink systems with strong colour performance, stability and jetting reliability.


 You’ll be responsible for: 

  • Transfer chemical ink designs from lab scale to manufacturing 
  • Define ink specifications with stakeholders and print-system experts 
  • Translate image quality, robustness and reliability targets into material windows 
  • Solve technical challenges in UVgel ink material development 
  • Capture knowledge in models to accelerate predictive development cycles 

 

Who You’ll Work With 

Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll work in an open, creative and multidisciplinary R&D environment. You will collaborate closely with chemists, material scientists, process engineers, print process specialists and system experts. 


What You Bring
 

We’re looking for a team player who meets the following requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field 
  • Knowledge of pigment dispersions, colloid chemistry or ink-processing technology 
  • Ability to translate material understanding into robust UV ink formulations 
  • A practical problem-solving mindset using experiments, analysis and modelling 
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English, both spoken and written
