Corporate Communications Professional

36-40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)

What You’ll Do

As a Corporate Communications Professional at Canon Production Printing, you will play a crucial role in shaping our internal and external communications. You will support both local and international projects, advising stakeholders on effective communication strategies to achieve project goals. Working in a small, dynamic team, you will need to balance independent work with collaborative efforts on larger projects.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute communication plans: craft and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies. 
  • Consultancy: provide expert communications advice to key business stakeholders. 
  • Content management: oversee content for the Internet, social media channels (primarily LinkedIn), intranet (SharePoint), and digital signage (narrowcasting). 
  • Employee engagement and change communications: support employee engagement activities (including employer branding to ensure alignment with corporate branding) and create and manage change communications working closely together with HR. 
  • Brand guardian: authorize articles for internal and external use, ensuring brand consistency. 

 

As our communications projects are very diverse, you will have many opportunities to develop yourself further and acquire new knowledge and skills. 

 

Real work examples: 

  1. C-level updates: Translate complex updates from senior management into clear, engaging multilingual messages for the corporate intranet, ensuring the essence of the message is preserved. 
  1. Change program support: Act as a communications consultant for internal change programs, co-creating communication plans and supporting internal messaging, graphic design, and events. 

 

 

What You Bring

We seek a self-motivated, collaborative, and pragmatic individual who can manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure. You should have: 

 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in communications with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Relevant experience in an international B2B environment. 
  • In-depth knowledge of modern communication tools and methods. 
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Technical proficiency in online publishing. 
  • Strong command of Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. 
  • Knowledge of AI, HTML, and social media in a B2B context is a plus. 
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and proficiency in either German or Dutch. 

 

 

Location 

This position is located at our Headquarters in Venlo, Limburg (The Netherlands)
