Data Scientist Finance (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights and recommendations
- Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning solutions
- Automate analysis, reporting, and forecasting processes
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPI visualizations
- Ensure data quality and further develop data governance standards
- Collaborate with Finance, Business, and IT, and communicate results in a clear and understandable way
Requirements
- Completed degree (e.g., in Data Science, Business Informatics, Statistics) or a comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and analytical methods
- Programming skills in Python and experience with SQL
- Very good knowledge of Power BI and common BI tools
- Understanding of data management and data quality, ideally with exposure to Finance/Controlling
- Analytical and structured working style, with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
