Environmental Protection Officer (m/f/d)

Your Challenge as Environmental Protection Officer (m/f/d)

 

  • Act as the central point of contact for all site-related environmental protection matters.
  • Monitor the operational implementation of environmental protection requirements and initiatives.
  • Support employees in handling environmental topics and compliance-related issues.
  • Assist in maintaining and further developing the Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Prepare environmental reports, assessments, and official statements.
  • Manage and support the environmental compliance process.
  • Collaborate closely with other appointed officers, including the Occupational Safety Specialist, Company Medical Officer, and Head of the Industrial Fire Brigade.
  • Support operational activities within the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team.

 

Who Are We Looking For?

 

  • You have successfully completed vocational training or a university degree in a technical, environmental, or related field and have gained relevant experience in implementing environmental protection measures within an industrial environment.
  • Ideally, you also have experience and/or additional qualifications in occupational health and safety.
  • You are familiar with environmental management systems, particularly ISO 14001.
  • You have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • You are a team-oriented and communicative individual with a proactive and independent working style. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
  • You possess solid MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
