Your assignment
This project offers an exciting opportunity to develop a high-fidelity dynamic model of the belt handling system used in one of Canon Production Printing’s latest industrial printers. You’ll dive into the physics behind belt motion, identify gaps in existing models, and develop improved representations that push print quality to the next level.

Your profile
• You are currently a MSc student in Mechanical Engineering at TU/e.
• You are interested in modelling dynamical systems and control and you have a basic background in these fields.
• The assignment can start as soon as possible. From the start date, you are available for 7-9 months for a minimum of 5 days per week.
• You can work flexibly, either on-site at Canon Production Printing in Venlo or from TU/e, depending on the phase of the project and your needs.
