Job Description
Msc: Graduation Assignment Mechanical Engineering - Model to optimize an acoustic noise suppressor

Are you an Msc Mechanical Engineering student with a specialization in Heat and Flow and are you looking for a graduation assignment? Are you ready for the challenge to develop a model that can determine and optimize the design of an acoustic noise suppressor? We are looking for you!

Your assignment
You are developing a model that optimizes the design of an acoustic noise suppressor. First step would be to get familiar with acoustic noise suppression techniques and to determine which are the best fit for our application. Based on this initial investigation you will develop a model that is able to optimize this suppressor. Your work will comprise; literature study, conceptual design, modelling and experimental verifications. In the end we would like to have a first model that is validated against experiments or literature. This model should help, during the design process, to create an effective noise suppressor. Are you triggered then please contact us, we are happy to discuss the options.
