Procurement Account Manager Professional Services
40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)
What You’ll Do
As Procurement Account Manager Professional Services you act as global category buyer for Professional Services (External hires, Outsourcing and Consultancy) on global level, mainly for our procurement teams in Germany and the Netherlands. Your main responsibilities are:
- Interact with your stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and connect them with the right suppliers
- Development of a balanced supply base and the building of relationships with suppliers
- Translate market insights towards a global category plan (procurement view)
- Be the escalation partner for our management in conflicts with suppliers
- Continuously optimize processes and improve overall TCO for our key stakeholders
- Negotiate terms and conditions, establish contracts together with Legal
The location of this position is Venlo. You are expected to travel to the other site approximately once per month for 2-3 days.
What You Bring
We are looking for an analytic and conceptual thinker with a commercial driven, goal-oriented attitude. You are an enthusiastic networker with the ability of maintaining your internal and external network. Furthermore, you meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in logistics, business administration, economics or comparable
- Preferably 3 years of experience in in a similar procurement position
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate with others and convince internal and external stakeholders with sound arguments
- Excellent level in English, speaking and writing
- Preferably an excellent level in Dutch and/or German
- Available for 36-40 hours per week
