Technical Trainer
40 hours per week, Venlo (NL)
What you’ll do
For our International Training Center (ITC) in Venlo we are looking for a Technical Trainer. ITC designs and develops performance-driven training programs for our CPP products for Canon Service organizations, partners, and customers worldwide.
In this position you will work on a recently launched machine. Your primary focus is to analyze training requirements, develop and prepare hardware training program concepts and in the end, conduct skill-based classroom or virtual training. Furthermore, your main responsibilities and challenges are:
- Identify and advise on learning needs
- Design and implement new blended learning programs to ensure the target group has the required skills and relevant know-how
- Deliver and optimize training content and learning modules
- Preparation of course concepts and training manuals with a selection of suitable training methods
- Independent implementation of training courses for service technicians and customers focusing on Large Format Graphics.
- Installation, maintenance, repair, backup and care of the Canon Production Printing systems (printers, servers) of the international training center to ensure effective training and smooth operations
- Collaboration and consultation with Canon stakeholders all over the world to provide tailor-made customer training solutions
What you bring
We are looking for a versatile candidate with a passion for training and technology to join our innovative team in Venlo. You have a high degree of initiative, solution orientation, stress resilience and the ability to work independently. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following requirements:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Mechanics
- Preferably experience in a similar position, but we are also open to people with a technical background who want to develop themselves in the direction of training
- Strong communication, intercultural and presentation skills
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to occasionally travel (worldwide) to Canon or customer sites
