Technology developer chemistry
40 hours per week, located in Venlo (NL)

 

What You’ll Do

As a technology developer with a chemical background you successfully drive material innovation, with a continuous focus on how this contributes to product concepts ensuring competitive printing systems. With your strong analytical skills, judgement, enthusiasm, creativity and good communication skills you realize new functional concepts and prototypes. You have an affinity with modelling and AI, and will drive digital transformation in your domain.

In your responsibly in the chemistry domain, you develop materials for components of the printing process (like inks or printheads) that contribute to realizing new (industrial) printers. Your challenge is to increase the available technology assets for balancing functionality, quality and cost effectiveness.

 

Who You’ll Work With

Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll be working with lots of other people in an open, creative multidisciplinary environment. That includes our other departments, designers, developers, and architects.

 

What You Bring

We’re looking for a team player who has:

  • a Master degree or PhD and a technical education, preferably Chemistry
  • strong technical background and eager to learn
  • capabilities to solve complex challenges using experimental and modelling approaches
  • excellent analytical and organizational skills and a strong drive for results  
  • proven work experience in an R&D environment is a pre
  • excellent communication skills, fluent in English – verbal and written
  • permission to work in the Netherlands
