What You Will Do

 

  • Together, we drive forward innovation in the printing industry through the use of advanced machine control software applications and libraries
  • Hereby you will be part of our software development team which is inventing cutting-edge highlevel embedded software solutions for our engines
  • As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the provision of new features and functions as well as their requirements 
  • For this we use state-of-the-art development approaches and environments including model-based technique, along with various programming languages and frameworks to develop our software applications

 

You are responsible for:

 

  • The software requirements specification
  • Design, realization and maintaining of C++ libraries and applications
  • Providing first-line support in the development team

As a software developer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and deliver high-quality software within functional, design, and timing constraints. 
You will be a proactive team player, constantly looking to support your fellow team and project members. In addition, our ideal candidate should also possess the following skills and qualification.

 

  • A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, or Informatics or Electro engineering (or proven experience in this area on similar level)
  • Several years of experience in software development – preferably in highlevel embedded area 
  • Extensive knowledge in C++ (preferably up to C++20) and Python
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong English communication and collaboration skills, as the role requires working with colleagues in different locations  
  • Good German communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Git, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps is a plus
