What you’ll do

 

As global business process expert you fulfill a central role and therefore you are in close contact with many stakeholders throughout the organization. In this role you maintain and improve system controlled processes in the area of production planning and material management to guide and support the Manufacturing departments, across the different CPP organizations. Continuous improvement by business automation of these processes is also a key area of your interest; always looking for opportunities for further process automation.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Provide support to the functional organization to solve operational issues in existing processes & systems. Examples of systems are; SAP, TeamCenter-UA.
  • Analyze existing (system controlled) manufacturing processes and define improvements to further develop the maturity level of these processes, focusing on standardization,  harmonization across different departments and on efficiency increase.
  • Lead projects to establish new (system supported) processes in the area of manufacturing. You are a change agent throughout the organization. 
  • Support the implementation of the M&L IT and digitalization strategy and roadmap in your domain.
  • Specifically lead the business preparation for the upcoming transition towards SAP S4HANA system in the domain of Manufacturing. Followed by leading the business transition to S4HANA, defining the new processes, focusing on standardization and harmonization. 
  • Pro-active management of your global and local stakeholders. E.g. the functional department managers, Key users in the Production Planning and Material Management domain, IT developers, etc.
  • You will also be a back-up for other Global Business Process Experts.

 

Who you’ll work with

 

You will be part of the Operational Excellence Department in a team of  Global Business Process Experts and Program Managers. In the day to day work you will work together with a lot of colleagues, both from your department as well as from other departments at different sites, varying from colleague Global Business Process Experts, Program Managers, Manufacturing Managers, Warehouse  Managers, Industrial Engineers, SAP Key Users, IT specialists, Controlling  and many others.

 

What you bring

 

We are looking for someone with an energetic drive and good communication skills. You have strong affinity with ERP and other IT systems. Continuously improving processes and systems gives you energy. At the same time you are interested to keep the existing business processes running by providing support as the process expert. You consider yourself as someone who recognizes improvement opportunities, develops best practice solutions , implements these in the systems and is able to roll-out these improvements across different departments and sites. To do so, you meet the following requirements:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in the related field
  • Proven experience in the control of (ERP steered) manufacturing related processes in an international environment
  • Knowledge and proven experience with control of manufacturing processes in SAP S4HANA
  • Experience with leading multi-disciplinary project teams and able to co-operate with, to listen to and to convince different stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Result driven change agent with proven experience of managing change in a complex international organization     
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English. German and Dutch is a plus. 
  • 37 hours available
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally; mainly between the different manufacturing and logistic sites (Poing & Venlo)
