Your challenge as an Industrial Engineer (m/f/d) in the area of assembly:

 

 

  • Independently initiate and coordinate optimisation projects in the manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly and testing, in order to make production processes more efficient.
  • Defining and optimising work plans, instructions, layouts and tools, taking into account ergonomic, logistical and technical requirements.
  • Support and supervision of the assembly lines in organisational matters of daily business to ensure smooth processes.
  • Designing and implementing needs-based assembly and testing steps for our digital printing systems using the lean production methodology.
  • Supporting products through the entire product life cycle - from concept development to discontinuation - and creating an essential interface between development and production.
  • Applying and further developing lean methods and passing on expertise for continuous improvement to colleagues. 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • You have successfully completed a degree in an engineering field, preferably in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field.
  • You have 3-4 years of practical experience as an industrial engineer in a manufacturing environment, ideally in (special) mechanical engineering.
  • Your knowledge of lean production methods is a great advantage.
  • Basic REFA training with certification is desirable.
  • You are characterised by your ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a self-confident manner.
  • Your creativity goes hand in hand with strong analytical and conceptual skills, and you like to think in overarching contexts.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
