The Canon Customer Experience Center (CEC) is an important asset in the customer journey. It acts as an production facility, a competence center, a showroom, an event space and as sales enabler. At the CEC, innovative printing technologies, high volume production systems and a variety of applications are on display. The CEC provides inspiration and commitment by connecting with customers, hosting industry driven events and supporting NSO sales. It  acts as a facility where customers can experience firsthand Canon’s products and solutions, and interact with print professionals and application specialists.

 

The International CEC Booking and Hospitality Officer plays a key role in daily CEC visits/activities, is part of the Communications team and meets people from all over the world. This person is dedicated to a flawless customer journey and takes pride to professionally organize and plan internal, external and international visits. Being easily accessible and communicative, you welcome people with a smile. 

 

Your challenge as International CEC booking and hospitality officer:

  • Responsible for Front Office and Back Office tasks, such as a flawless welcoming of visitors/customers, mailbox management, handling incoming calls, registration of visitors, handling of catering requests, reserving meeting rooms and parking spaces, creating access badges and so on
  • Acts as primary contact for internal and external guests and is on site at the information desk
  • Acts upon conflicts while keeping dedicated to a customer focused experience
  • Support the organization of CEC activities that take place and assist during execution where needed
  • Works closely together with the CEC teams, stakeholders and third parties to enable a smooth operation 
  • Place orders with internal/external suppliers
  • Capable to communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders and adopts a strong service orientation. 
  • A people-person who communicates at all levels
  • Create CEC related activity reports
  • Is open to acquire general knowledge of equipment and applications in order to act as host for non-commercial visitor tours (schools, suppliers etc.)

 

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Fachabitur/ Fachwirt (Hospitality Management or Office Management) or alternatively acquired knowledge
  • Hospitable and representative
  • Independent and responsible 
  • Strong organizational abilities and detail oriented
  • Cope with stress and problem solving thinking/acting
  • Affinity for computer based solutions (digital customer engagement platform and MS Office)
  • Flexible team player and willing to travel occasionally
  • High customer orientation paired with strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English (Dutch and French is a plus) 
  • Capable to manage intercultural relations
  • Hands-on mentality
