Are you a MSc Electrical Engineering student with a passion for machine learning and AI? Do you enjoy hands-on work and practical measurements? We are looking for you!

Your assignment
You will be tasked with developing a power model for a printing machine. This model will be driven by machine learning techniques or broader AI approaches, depending on the best fit determined by your research. Your activities will include:
•    Conducting research to identify the most suitable approach for the power model.
•    Performing practical measurements to gather data for training the model, including variables such as voltage, current, power consumption, and environmental factors.
•    Developing and training the model using the collected data.
•    Verifying the accuracy and effectiveness of the model through testing and validation.

The primary goal of this model is to gain a better understanding of the power consumption of our printing machine under varying conditions, such as job structure, environmental influences, and machine life cycle state. By doing so, we aim to make the machine more sustainable and energy-efficient. Additionally, the model will be used for diagnostic purposes, which could lead to significant improvements in our product and services.

Your profile
We are looking for a university-level student pursuing a MSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong affinity and knowledge in machine learning and AI. You should be enthusiastic about conducting practical measurements and can work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, practical skills in creating electrical measurement equipment are required. The student is expected to work at least 4 days a week on our location for a duration of 7 to 9 months.
