Print process researcher physics
40 hours per week, On location in Venlo (NL)
What You’ll Do
As print process researcher you further develop our inkjet printing process, consisting of for example printheads, ink, maintenance and fixation. With your strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, entrepreneurial mindset and ambition you inspire and influence your stakeholders in your project (e.g. functions, designers, researchers). Being part of the print process team you understand and decompose total aspects like print quality towards functional requirements.
You are responsible for:
- Steer development of technology assets (inks, print heads, media, image processing) that are needed to develop state of the art printing processes
- Understand and balance the print process architecture to realize the right print quality, application range, time-to-market and cost effectiveness that meet the business strategy and stakeholder requirements
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams to deliver a working print process that enables new applications for graphics and industrial printing
Who You’ll Work With
Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll be working with lots of other people in an open, creative multidisciplinary environment. That includes for example designers, developers and architects.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a team player who has:
- A Bachelor degree in Physics
- A strong technical background and eager to learn
- A combination of experimental and modelling skills in order to understand the physics of the printing process by performing experiments on test setups as well as the ability to capture the knowledge in models.
- Outstanding people management skills - ability to influence and motivate people. Team builder with strong planning/project management skills, a pro-active attitude and experienced in extensive stakeholder management
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and a strong results driven mindset
- Proven work experience in product development is a pre
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English – verbal and written
- Permission to work in the Netherlands
