We are currently looking for a Product Specialist Application Software (m/f/d) for our Service & Support department.

Then apply to us, because we are looking for Product Specialists in the field of application software (m/f/d) with professional experience for our current new developments in the field of digital production printing, who can take on these tasks with a high degree of independence and initiative. 

Your challenge as Product Specialist Application Software (m/f/d):

• Analyze and track technical problems with customer installations worldwide
• Work out target-oriented and sustainable solutions to resolve issues
• Escalation support and project-based coordination
• Knowledge and information transfer by developing course concepts for users, Canon Service Engineers and Canon Professional Services Consultants
• Close cooperation with experts in R&D and product marketing
• Focus on SUSE Linux and Data Security with following key points
• Development and maintenance of Security Whitepapers for software products and SRA-controller based print engines
• Conduct compliance statements regarding PCI DSS, ISO 27001, DSGVO

Your Qualifications:

• Completed vocational education as a computer scientist or a Bachelor degree in a technical course of studies or comparable education as a minimum
• Several years of professional experience
• Deep knowledge of SUSE Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems with regard to installation, administration and usage
• Ability and willingness to work into complex issues and process problems in a structured way
• Hands-on mentality with structured, self-paced working attitude, appropriate communication skills, reliability and a positive mindset to work in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and good skills in English
• Flexibility and readiness to travel the world if needed (international driving license may be required)
