Project Management Officer: System Expert
40 hours per week, Venlo
What You’ll Do
As a member of the Project Management Office team, you are leading projects within the PMO in the area of development, implementation and maintenance of systems, tools and processes in the R&D organization. You will administer and maintain existing project management systems and tools and lead the implementation of new project and portfolio management systems and tools.
You’ll be furthermore responsible for:
- Represent the Project Management Office (PMO) in all organizational and process-relevant matters and thus make a decisive contribution to the successful implementation and execution of our projects.
- Enable the PMO team in their role as project management knowledge center on system level.
- Prepare information about ongoing projects, creating reports which can be reused in all projects.
- Establish and drive the sharing of best practices across the projects in our multisite organization.
- Own and administer collaboration methods and tools used across all projects.
- Define and maintain the project documentation and archiving standards.
- Support the project documentation and information including the quality, completeness and accuracy of content by combining the different systems and tools.
- Facilitate key program meetings, pre-briefing stakeholders and recording and management of actions as well as ensuring that escalations are followed up and resolved.

This allows you to work closely with various teams, including designers, developers, architects, and management. The R&D division spans three development locations: Timișoara (Romania), Poing (Germany), and Venlo (Netherlands). The PMO team has office in Venlo and Poing and operates cross site.

What You Bring
We’re looking for a team player who has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in technical direction (mechanical, software or industrial engineering)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of project or program management experience in the field
- Project Management, Process Thinking, Structured and System affinity
- Skills in Office365, PPM Tooling (Planta experience would be an advantage), SharePoint Online
- An eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
