What you’ll do
As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for the quality of incoming raw materials and outgoing products. You maintain quality-related contact with our suppliers and set up a quality assurance organization for items such as inks, toners, or print heads.
You develop qualification methods together with R&D and transfer these procedures to production. This includes monitoring progress, interpreting data, and analyzing quality loss so it can be assigned to a design team. The development and execution of the qualification take place in parallel. - Selecting, visiting, and auditing suppliers and ensuring they deliver according to the specified requirements
- Supporting/implementing alternative raw materials and associated measurement methods
- Convincing your R&D colleagues to arrive at feasible product specifications
- Supporting product introductions
- Updating/replacing measurement equipment
- Systematically solving problems using (for example) the 8D method with a multidisciplinary team to find root causes
- Updating knowledge regarding all measurement methods and reviewing operator training documentation
This vacancy is located in Venlo, Limburg.
