What you’ll do

As Supply Chain Engineer at Canon Production Printing you will analyze the current logistics processes and make them more effective and efficient. You are at the heart of the organization and ensure that both long-term and short-term objectives are met. With your strong analytical and organizational skills, you are able to timely identify bottlenecks, deploy the right colleagues, devise solutions and implement them.

In this role you will have a lot of contact with colleagues from the departments Supply Chain Management Machines, Purchasing, Production, R&D, Service and also with external suppliers.

You will define crash actions to secure the supply of the service parts. Once resolved, you will also look how to improve this supply chain structurally, depending on the life cycle phase of this product. When the service demand decreases, you will work with the logistics planners to optimize stocks and improve process where needed.

Who you’ll work with

You will become part of a team of 14 people who can't wait for you to start. Together we are responsible for the setup and optimal Supply Chain planning of spare parts for our printers. The team consists of both Supply Chain planners and Supply Chain engineers, each with their own part responsibility but with the same objective; good delivery reliability for our customers at the lowest possible cost and optimal inventory levels.

What you bring

You are an analytically strong, proactive team player. You easily make connections and are able to convince others. In your work you always keep an overview and go for the best result. You are and stay up to date with developments in the constantly changing Supply Chain market.

  • Completed Bachelor or Master education in the direction of Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • As an Bachelor, at least 2 years of experience in the field of inventory control, production planning, logistics projects, or supply chain optimization

  • Looking for an international organization with complex logistics challenges and an environment where you will be challenged to realize logistics solutions
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Excel and SAP
