We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the execution and implementation of logistics processes end-to-end within the entire product lifecycle of Canon products in the SCM Consumables department. Your goal is to ensure the availability of materials at the right time, in the right quality and with the best possible cost efficiency. You will work closely with other departments within our organisation as well as with customers and strategic suppliers.
 

Your challenge as a Supply Chain Planner (m/f/d):

 

  • You plan and analyse the end-to-end supply chain for consumables/expendables to ensure our agreed services.
  • You implement the defined supply chain strategies and concepts together with our suppliers and/or customers.
  • You plan material inventories so that set inventory targets can be achieved and availability to the customer can be fulfilled according to agreements. You are also responsible for the corresponding reporting.
  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain processes and systems based on best practice models across the organisation (e.g. Lean Supply Chain, TPO implementation).
  • Analysing and maintaining master data is also part of your tasks.
  • You will support the SCM department throughout the entire product life cycle of the individual products and implement the agreed tasks in the change management process, phase-in, phase-out process for the respective material groups.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • You are a team player, communicative, analytical and have a proactive way of working
  • You are highly customer-oriented and have excellent planning and organisational skills
  • You have successfully completed a degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering or business studies with a focus on supply chain management, logistics or a comparable specialisation or have several years (3-5 years) of professional experience in a comparable field of responsibility
  • Professional experience in purchasing activities is an advantage
  • You follow developments in the constantly changing supply chain market and keep up to date with them
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office, SAP (including MM) and also have a basic affinity for IT
  • Your very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile
