Team Lead Strategic Procurement (m/f/d)

Your job as Team lead strategic procurement 

As team lead strategic procurement your main responsibilities are:

• Your are functional responsible for about 15 procurement professionals (Procurement Account Managers and procurement eproject purchasers) 
• You are part of this team and manage strategic suppliers yourself
• You connect with multi-side stakeholders to realize the overall procurement goals (like cost down, supply base optimization etc.)
• Continuously improve the global procurement processes 
• Contribute to mid and long term procurement strategy development

The location of this position is at Canon Production Printing in Poing (Germany). 
 
Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for a solution driven people manager who has a strong commercial orientation.
You are an enthusiastic networker with the ability of maintaining your internal and external network. 

• Bachelor or Masters degree in procurement, supply chain, business administration, economics or comparable
• Approximately 5-10 years of experience in in a similar procurement position
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate with others and convince internal and external stakeholders with sound arguments
• Excellent level in English and German speaking and writing
